This fabulous vegetarian restaurant set up in 1990 by Simon Rimmer oozes a fresh approach to vegetarian cuisine. The menu includes exuberant flavour combinations from all over the world such as Thai spiced potato cake with a wasabi pea puree and Jerked Halloumi with rice and peas!

It is named after the year the veggie society was formed in the UK. The best part? owner, Damien, is passionate about supporting local producers. The menu’s constantly changes but usually offers classic dishes with a contemporary twist such as, ‘Beet Bourguignon’.
